I had previously talked with Dr. C, my chiropracter, about a 21-day cleanse program. I knew this would be a challenge because I was basically drinking three shakes a day, eating vegetables and fruits (2:1), and taking supplements.
Well, here we are, Day One, and I have had a shake, complete with blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries*. I also had a big old heaping helping of fiber and whey protein in the mix.
Currently, I have the beginning of a headache. No doubt, the start of caffeine withdrawals. Oh, happy, happy, joy, joy.
We'll see how the day progresses.
*Quite the trifecta of yummalicious.
